Nancy Royal, Photographer
Nancy Royal's photographic
work characteristically gives a sense of permanence to moments in
people's lives by holding that time in a strongly organized image
of urban places.
The New England Holocaust
Memorial, both a special place of recollection and an architectural
work of significance, is well revealed in her record of the diverse,
but moving and respectful experiences of the visitors to the Memorial.
Nancy Royal is a freelance
photographer in Boston. Her initiation to photography was at the
School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston with Hans Li as her
mentor. Her work has been exhibited at Harvard University and at
Symphony Hall, Boston.
